This is Jay Chou's 5th concert in Singapore, and I have attended all of them ^_^ We had the best seat for $198 category, the very first block, the very first row, and seat no. 1, 2 & 3. Wahahhaa. So so lucky. Realli very thankful to sis's fren who knows people from sistics/mediacorp.
Took many pics before the concert starts. My younger bro n PS r quite near to us, though they bought the most exp tix.. kakaka..
The stage itself is quite impressive. As we r right at the side of the stage, cannot see the performace of that big screen during the later part of the concert.. hv to see fr the big screen...
Actually I quite like some of their mernchandise. But the Q is damn f**king long..... sianzx99999. Tried super hard to find familiar face in the Q, but failed.
Overall, a very interesting and entertaining concert. I would describe a concert which gave me the most no. of surprises :)
Attached 2 video clips on the revolving stage, which has won World Guiness Record. This stage was superb, made the audience veri veri high, me too. I wonder how much they pay for the insurance for shipping tis stage from Hong Kong to Singapore.
Actually, I took total 146 pics during the concerts, only abt 20 turned out clear, n these few r the nice ones. Enjoy!~
Just finished converting my avi video to rm format, so tat I can upload into the blog.. first time using my camera to record video. very easy to use. Can zoom in n out while filming. This is one feature which is quite rare in this type of camera. Most of the time, u cannot zoom in or out when u started filming. I jus realise tat I din use night mode while taking the pics at the concert.... dunno how to use oso, mus read the manual now. lol.. enjoy the video. =) =)
Got discounted tickets from sis's fren, $148 tix selling at $40. Quite worth it to go, haha.
He sang some a-go-go songs in the beginning, very very sianz.. cos dunno wat r those songs..... But he sang his popular tracks after tat.. hee =) I enjoyed the concert very much. He cracked a lot of jokes last night.. the most classic is the one where he wore a very fitting black top.. n he cat-walked down the stage.. lol.. he said he borrowed the top from madonna.. so so so faint. best joke of the night. muahaha.
Gary has a fan club based in singapore, called GFC.. guess u can see it from the last pic. it's very cool of him to wear the fan club T-shirt. showing appreciation of the club's efforts. I had some video clips I recorded, trying to re-size them b4 I upload. 2nd part coming later =)
Since Jay's concert, I hv been keeping a lookout for the upcoming concert tis yr. Saw a few good ones, but still deciding cos need to know at least 60% of their songs before going for the concert... If not, I will feel very left out. =.=
For this month:
1) A symphony orchestra concert by Jeff Chang (张信哲) on the 15th at The MAX Pavilion@Singapore Expo. Tix r selling fast, only the $128 tix r available, the rest r either sold out or left with single seats.
2) On the 29th, there's a Wu Bai & China Blue Asia Tour 2008搖滾之王 - 伍佰『妳是我的花朵』2008年亞洲巡迴演唱会 at Sun Tec. As expected, seats r availabe... =p I believe my frens will not b interested too..
For the next few months:
3) Tis is the one which my sis wants to go.. but her tummy is getting bigger, dun tink David will permit her to go to crowded places.. David Tao 2008『陶喆 123 我们都是木头人 世界巡回演唱会』on the 19Apr at Singapore Indoor stadium. Tix r selling not as fast as I expected. He's popular in Singapore, u know, so still figuring out y there r avaliable tix.. Hmmm...
4) The May Day (五月天) is coming for their Mayday [Down To Earth] Singapore Concert 2008五月天 [回到地球表面] 新加坡演唱會 2008 on 26 Apr at Singapore Indoor stadium. I heard from my colleagues tat their previous concert was very 劲爆, n they seem to hv bought the tix for tis concert.. HhMmmmm..
5) Harlem Yu World Tour 2008 庾澄慶2008世界巡迴演唱會 on the 24 Mar at Singapore Indoor stadium. Havent heard any new albums from him, so most likely he's singing his old songs. I dun tink I will go for tis one too...
Heard Angela 张韶涵 postponed her concert in Apr till further notice. I find it very strange... Many other concerts by veteran singers like 钟镇涛 (Ah B), 郑少秋, 鳳飛飛 and 甄妮 not mentioned as I dun belong to their era..
I would say Jay is getting better n better in his dance move. Very surprised to see him involved in some of the dance step in his songs. During his first 2 concerts, I dun remember him doing any dance movement.. LOL. We got quite fun ppl ard us. All very sporty. Some even practised their "cheering movement" b4 the concerts starts!
Compared to Fish Leong's concert last Dec, Jay's concert is realli shocking. We did e same routine as Fish's concert, went early at abt 6.30pm for dinner, then walked ard e mall, then walked to e stadium. Very few ppl, n e concerts started at 8.45pm ~~>_<~~ BUT on e 19Jan, reached at e same time, but e carpark is almost full.. mall is crowded, needed to quene for all food, no matter food court, Jap food, Subway, KFC, Pastamania, etc.. even e expensive Thai food oso need to quene.. FAINT... e most impt thing is that>>> the sovernir counter at e entrance was packed with ppl.. a snake quene of at least 50plus ppl were thr to buy his sovernir, like keychain, figurines, etc. I bought his latest CD for 9 bucks cos wanna support his album sales mah =p

Sis n I went to his previous concerts twice.. it's very good the first time. We had good seats, great view n always a fan to his music. The 2nd one was good too, but we din enjoy much due to our seats. We were seated on the levelled ground, at 20+ rows. Whenever the ppl in the front rows stood up, the stage was completely blocked... The worst is tat we q for 2hrs+ to buy the most exp tix >_<
Tis time round, the tix r open for sale to OCBC cardholders, on 22Oct at 9am (very lucky of me as I hv their cc).. I tried to login as early as possible to get good seats for the 3rd exp tix. But tat's e day I was down with rashes on my face. Pretty bad as my colleagues could see it from a distance. I rushed to NUH for treatment.. thus missed my chance to get good seats. Slept e rest of the day, so bought my tix the next day when I was at work. As a whole, not the best tix I would expect, but the seats r not too far. The bad news is tat there will b a 2nd one.. to make things worse, it is scheduled a day before the tentative concert, meaning >> I m watching the 2nd day concert.. so zzzZzz.
