This is my 2nd time dining at this japanese restaurant. I am not sure if the price is the same for lunch and dinner, cos I did not pay the 1st time I came. For lunch, it was $77.70 for 2 persons.
It's a MUST to make reservation if u don't wanna be waiting outside the restaurant. It's a pretty small restaurant, and ala carte buffet style menu.
If u r a sashimi and tempura lover, this is definitely a place for u. Unlimited order for all the fresh salmon, swordfish, tuna, yellow tails, cuttlefish and snapper sashima. The prawn tempura is super fresh too. Personally, I like the curry udon and salmon-skin handroll. Very nicely cooked and made, and for people like me who doesn't like seaweeds with fishy smell/taste, the seaweeds used for the handrolls are crispy and not fishy at all. Really worth it for the price!
Over all, I find this trip very enjoyable, as I got to see cherry blossom :)
Cherry blossom by the lake is the best. I wanna get a pic of one with snow-capped mountain, but hard to get the angle. Also, earned some tippings during this trip. Guess I will stop tour-leading for the time being till I have enough leave.
My tour guide was very nice, treated me with BBQ abalone. hahaha. The abalone was actually alive while grilling them. Quite nice, though I prefer to have Kobe beef =X

My very horrible tour guide was actually holding to apples, n they r waiting for him to throw over. This horrible guy refused to throw lor.. so so bad.. realli pity the bears..
Seems to hv a number of interesting Jap movies showing these few weeks. At first I wanted to watch Suspect X, cos I watched the drama series, realli like the leading male actor 福山雅智, one of my fav Jap actors.. but in the end, still havent watched it.. Reviews seem so-so, not tempted to pay for the tix..
Weifang jio me watch this Detroit Metal City (In short, Go to DMC) last friday. Realli nv regret watching it. Super hilarious, good storyline too. I couldn't stop laughing almost the whole time, till I had to catch my breath. hahah.. Highly recommended esp if u r looking for a laugh. The lead actor is jus too good.
Watching another Jap movie, Departures tonight. This movie won the Oscars for best foreign film. Many good reviews on this movie. Always wanting to watch this when it opened 3 weeks ago, but cannot find any1 to watch with me.. sadz.. finally can watch le :)
Guess I will jus wait for Suspect X in the streaming version.. haha...

I know my listening will not score cos I was super ganjiong tat day, couldn't concentrate during the listening compre session. Turned out I got 59 nia.. sigh... but nvm, at least I passed.. Hee. Aiming for JLPT2 if possible. Learning Japanese is realli fun lor. haha

Sigh.. I mus b super itchy backside to sign up for the exam. Realli regretted taking it. At tis age, memorizing vocab is super tough. I can barely remember 60% of the vocab I studied after 3hrs. Did the 2007 past yr exam, and I have 2 correct answers for the 1st 7 question... How to pass lor!!!???

Not only tat, 2 weddings' coming.. Dawn's on the 23th tis month, n my cousin on 6th Dec, a day b4 my actual exam.. Mayb I shud go to the temple, pray for good memory for these 3 weeks... super demoralized now.
Signed up for elementary japanese course at Pyaess language school, located at International plaza. Attended the 1st lesson last night.... Always wanted to learn a 3rd language, 1 tat is useful and fun to learn. Jap is definitely 1 of my 1st choices, as I like jap anime, manga and of crs travel to japan.
The 1st lesson was fun n tough too.. Gotta learn so many hiraganas in 1 lesson. Luckily, I was kaisu, so oredi learnt 25 chars b4 going to e class =p even my colleague who attended the same school as me, but 4 weeks earlier can't stand me o.O Hee. Tink I m gonna spend lesser time on my game, n study hard on the hiragana charts. Can feel tat my other classmates know a lot, even more than me... night classes r realli tough. Gotta salute to my all other frens who hv survived all these yrs of work n part time study..
Hopefully, I can read simple sentences on hiraganas soon =)
