Choco Banana

I have totally forgotten about this food I had in Switzerland... went to this BBQ organized by KT's lab fren. They bought a lot of food, but tis one realli amazes me..

At first, I din know wat they were doing, till they started bbq-ing them.. so faint!

It's super nice.. n super sinful oso.. Veri impt to use dark choco. Banana is sweet by nature, so with milk choco, the choco melts faster, n the whole dessert is too sweet! I m going to try this for my next BBQ =)

Gotta say thanks to KT for inviting me to this BBQ. & congratz to his Brazilian friend for his graduation from the lab =) ........ (forgot his name... =X)

Journey to Grindelwald - Day 2

Left Zermatt at about 9plus, heading towards Grindelwald, where everyone goes thr to see Jungfraujoch. We trekked for about 45min to the next Tasch b4 taking the paramonic train ride to Grindelwald.

The walk was damn scenic =) n as we walked away from Zermatt, it's getting warmer n warmer. quite a nice morning exercise actually.

Wahaha.. both KT n I fell aslp while in the train.. cannot tahan la.. quite sleepy lor. Xiaoai was the one who was still awake at tat time, n we r both caught in candid... =X

Stopped over at Spiez where there's a lake nearby, called Brienz something.. but the water is actually quite cloudy, veri veri artificial.. unlike the one in Geneva.. more natural n cleaner.

Weather in Grindelwald was super good.. Clear blue sky.. I realli felt so so so lucky :) :D

We decided to bring our baggage up for oour first walk.. cos the last return cable ride from our planned route was 5.30pm. The 3 famous Bernese Alps, Eiger, Monch and Jungfraujoch. We took so many pics of the alps, too many to upload, so I onli selectively chose a few. The good weather jus made u keep snapping.. non-stop...

We took a train to Kleine Scheidegg, the impt stop to go up Jungfrau.. But the ride was super exp.. 106.50 CHF for the ride.. 2.5hrs go up, 2.5h come down.. so I decided to go next time with other frens.. We took a short scenic walking trail, abt 50min from this stop to Mannichen, whr we took cable car back to Grindelwald..

A day filled with alps n nice scenies. Realli realli lucky tat the weather is good... so so so hengz...

Dinner was near our lodge. n in the evening, the alps were orangy in color.. realli a good trip. I had lasagne.. hee.. super sinful dinner... =X

To Switzerland & My 1st day in Zermatt

I m veri veri suagu... 1st time in my life, I boarded the flight using tis manner. haha... super small Swiss Air airplane oso. but very old plane, very old leather seats oso..

Arrived Zurich about 11.30am, then took the train to Lausanne, reached about 2.30pm. Kui Thong & Xiaoai brought me for a short city tour. Raining tat day, so din realli get a good picture of Lake Geneva.. so sad... We had a walk near the lake, n had crepes and coffee for afnoon tea. Not bad.. Very very relaxing type of holiday for me =))

Took about 2.5hrs train to get to Zermatt. Saw the Gracier Express train while we r at the connecting station. I find tat the train is just newer, with cleaner glass windows. No diff from the normal train tat goes along the same track. So we decided not to take Gracier express since they charged 30CHF more..

The scenery was superb. Cannot keep my camera n eyes closed at all.. ahaha. Most importantly, the weather was damn damn good. When we reached the summit, can see Matterhorn. It's realli a breath-taking experience. A must-MUST place to visit.

We took cable car up to the summit, n on our way back, we stopped half-way, n trekked down. About 1h 15min walk, n we had beer halfway at some stopover ^_^ The beer I hv is a swiss beer. not bad. but i forgot the name of the beer....
